About Me

I’m Borislav Ginov, a full-stack developer with a background in art & design. Originally from Plovdiv, Bulgaria, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and a Master’s in Digital Arts. After moving to Berlin, I gained professional experience in 3D architecture visualization and product rendering, where I honed my skills in design, teamwork, and project conceptualization.
Driven by curiosity and a desire to grow, I transitioned into web development, where I discovered a deep interest in building functional and visually appealing digital solutions. Now, as a full-stack developer, I’m excited to bring my unique blend of design expertise and technical skills to innovative projects.

Pokedex is simple web application built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Users can browse through a list of Pokemon cards and select one by name. By clicking on a Pokemon image and more details about the character are displayed. Friendly and simple UI with individual modal providing more information. The app is fetching data from the official Pokemon API filtered to selected elements.

A RESTful API for managing a movie database with user authentication and authorization. Defining API endpoints and routes with Express framework and middleware functions. Creating NoSQL database with Mongoose alongside proper authorization, JWT authentication and data validation for secure operations.

Allowing user to register and login, browse trough available movies and see more information about a selected movie.
